Self-Employed (January 2001- Present): Private Computer Consulting, Sub-Contracting in Residential Construction and Equine Farm Management. Recently deployed the Navy/Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) in Athens, GA, at the US Navy Supply School.
RaceTrac Petroleum (October 1998-January 2001): Corporate Technical Support Manager. Designed and implemented work areas. Managed daily operations of Meridian phone switch. Created and maintained hardware/software/printer inventory in a Microsoft Access 97 database, generating queries and reports to upper management. Implemented upgrade of local and remote offices to latest software & hardware technologies. Created and maintained daily server-room outage databases consisting of reports and queries. Generated and negotiated plans and processes to save money on temporary and permanent staffing. Managed upgrade for the entire corporation to latest anti-virus technology. Compaq/Digital Equipment Corporation (January 1996-October 1998): Trained and excelled in telephonic and desk-side support of state-of-the-art Pentium and RISC (DEC Alpha) based PCs, operating systems ranging from DOS to Windows 98/NT 4.0, network interface cards/drivers, SCSI adapters/drivers, video cards/drivers and monitors. Performed as an assistant supervisor and a 2nd-level technician dealing with a variety of personnel and systems. Designed, created and administered a 40-PC LAN deploying NT 4.0 Server and Workstation, DOS, Windows 3.11/95/98 and Novell 4.1x. Created, managed and maintained a 40-PC Lab for troubleshooting hardware, software and networking, including file and print servers. Setup environments for a variety of training and performed as the trainer.

Performed as a military intelligence radio direction finder, working with teletypes and various computer systems, including PCs, minis, mainframes and proprietary systems. Ten years of duty as a Military Intelligence instructor, teaching various computer-oriented equipment, software and procedures. Highly trained in personal communications, leadership, management and organizational skills. Excelled and decorated in all leadership positions commensurate with rank. Excelled at all levels of military and common training from Squad (5-10 persons) to Brigade (1000+ persons). Honorably retired at the rank of Sergeant First Class, after 20 years of flawless and diligent service. Held a Top Secret Security Clearance.
